  • We provide SAP consulting on product data for a major electronics manufacturer. Product data consulting is one of our key strengths.
  • We have also helped the same manufacturer streamline and automate many of its logistics and production processes. Today, the processes start with product data in the PLM system, which remains relevant through to the final stages of manufacturing, when it must be determined which programs to install on the device. With automation, the devices no longer need to be handled at certain stages. Instead, the pallet arrives at the packing station, a robot checks the contents, and SAP handles packaging and shipping based on the results.
  • Engineer-to-order manufacturing combines project and product structures, but make-or-buy decisions and phantom assemblies at each level also play a major role. Subcontractors ship the parts and assemblies we’ve ordered to other subcontractors before the assembly reaches the factory. We developed a suitable tool for two clients, and these ETO processes are now used by several others as well.
  • For our process industry clients, batch data and other related information are at the heart of their operations. They also have specific needs, which is why SAP is particularly useful to them.
  • Work at pharmaceutical plants is less time-critical, but the validation process is extremely rigorous. They make extensive use of SAP functionality, so consultants need to be familiar with several modules.
  • The latest SAP solutions are now accessed through a browser, and their development has moved to SAP BTP. It offers a wide range of technology components, with Java/JavaScript as the development languages. Browser-based solutions (Fiori) became possible more than ten years ago. There was some demand for these on mobile devices, particularly in warehouses, but we’ve also built almost as many SAP GUI user interfaces based on React, for example.
